Bring your best work and compete for a spot in this show that is all about attitude, swagger, talent and competition.
* Each artist brings just ONE piece to be presented in-person to the jury. The jury panel consists of ONLY the artists who are submitting the this show. The panel will ask questions, comment & debate before voting. The artist in front of the panel may answer, defend or refuse further comment beyond introducing their work.
*$10 submission fee includes your seat on the jury. Whether your work is selected or not, each submitting artist has an equal vote. Submissions are taken first come, first serve until we can’t fit any more jurors in our space. (we can fit about 100)
*Artists must be available on Saturday April 24th from 6pm-whenever to BOTH present their work and participate on the jury. **Keep in mind that the jury process could last all night. No, we are not kidding.
*The jury process will be open to the public for observation either in person, online through streaming video and on Youtube.
*There is no restriction on medium or size–if you can get it here, it will be judged.
Show opens Saturday May 1st @ 8pm. Runs 5/1/10-6/5/10 at The Soundry.
