Early Release Art Jams! Mondays 3-4pm
Looking for a great activity for your 6-12 year old on early release days from public school?
Young, aspiring artists (ages 6-12) are invited to join LisaMarie Adams at The Soundry for a rollicking good time! Monday afternoons are full of fun and excitement. Each “jam” will involve different artsy tools and techniques. We will explore a variety of mediums and learn basic art skills while making new friends and enjoying each others’ company. Pre-registration is required so we can be sure to provide enough supplies for everybody!
Cost: $10 per class
**Parents are invited to stay and play for $5 or go enjoy a break!** Parents can also wait in The Soundry cafe and enjoy an espresso drink. Free wi-fi also!
ART JAM SCHEDULE:
Mondays 3-4pm
April 26th. Wood Sculptures, Paint and Glue, Create buildings, robots, whatever you can imagine!
May 3rd. Chinese Painting Pen and Ink. Using bright inks and Chinese brushes we will try our hand at this unique Painting technique
May 10th PaperMaking! Create your very own sheet of paper! Out of fibers and grasses and trash oh my!
May 17th Watercolor madness…can you paint using a squirt gun? Or bubbles? Or your toes? I bet you can!
May 24th Tile painting and decorations! Create beautiful works of art on ceramic tiles!
