They were naked in front of their peers..Well, not literally but they felt that way as each of these artists went in front of a jury of their peers to present, discuss and defend their work in an attempt to be accepted into this experimental art show.

This show presents amazing work from DC area artists who desired to F*CK the Machine.

* Each artist presented just ONE piece in-person to the jury. The jury panel consisted of ONLY the artists submitting to this show. The panel was encouraged to ask questions, comment & debate before voting. The artist in front of the panel answered and defended their work—all on live, streaming video!

Meet the Artists Reception and Gallery Talks

7-9pm

This is a juried show of photography that focuses on alternative photography and printing techniques. Show Runs 1/30/10-3/5/10.

If the snow kept you from the Obscura opening, here is another excellent chance to see this impressive exhibit of alternative photography while meeting the artists responsible.

7-8pm: Meet & Mingle with the artists reception from 7-8pm.

8-9pm: Gallery Talk: The artists will be speaking about their techniques and the craftsmanship behind their work.

9pm: Exhibit Viewing
